Health research and AI:
a CMDO symposium
If you have an interest in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and data mining as applied to health research, but sometimes find it intimidating, then our event is made for you. Whether you aim to integrate AI into your health research projects or seek opportunities for collaboration in AI and data mining for cardiometabolic health-related initiatives, our event provides a unique platform for exchange.
This year, our event is expanding its scope of exploration by delving into major hot topics. We will delve into the current state of AI, including an exploration of the implications of large language models in healthcare. We will also examine AI’s role in diagnostics, patient care, and personalized medicine. Additionally, we will engage in discussions about the crucial aspects of fair and responsible AI within the healthcare domain.
The CMDO Network's Health research and AI symposiumis designed for you, whatever your level!

ABOUT THE CMDO network
Who are we?
Why this event?
The goal of the CMDO Research Network (rrCMDO) is to develop research into cardiometabolic health, diabetes and obesity, and to pass on and exploit this knowledge to promote the health and quality of life of Quebecers.
The rrCMDO is made up of more than 1,160 members active at national and/or international level.
Find out more about CMDO
Artificial intelligence and data mining technologies are booming, promising to predict and diagnose diseases, recommend personalised treatments and share medical data on a global scale. Faced with these advances, our pan-Quebec network is committed to informing the community about these technologies, training students and promoting exchanges between specialists to foster excellence in cardiometabolic research. It is against this backdrop that we present the IA/MDRS - 2021 exhibition and invite you to share it with your network.
